Have a coffee by the creek.

Cappucho is located in Elco Yards, Redwood City, set within a small art parklet directly opposite the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. It is a place people arrive on foot, by bicycle, or by chance, and leave more slowly than intended. Cyclists pause. Dogs settle. Conversations lengthen. A cup is taken. Water is restored.
We roast coffee here in small quantities, using electric, ventless, smokeless technology. Espresso is prepared in the Italian manner. Water is treated with equal seriousness. Sugar, artificial flavoring, and unnecessary ornament are avoided in favor of tradition, clarity, and restraint.
Cappucho began as distance measured on two wheels, the poetry of motion translated into a sustainable practice. It remains a kind of hiker’s hut within the suburban landscape of Silicon Valley. A place to drop a kickstand, rest briefly, and continue on with more attention than before.
Our commitment to sustainability, community, and optimism is not announced. It is meant to be tasted. We ride or walk to work most days, and support others who do the same.
Hospitality here is considered inseparable from quality. If the coffee is good but the welcome is not, the work is unfinished.
Beans and conversation are available.
Orders may be placed by person, text or phone: +1 (415) 343-5245.
This is coffee. Recharged. Rediscovered. Redefined.
